Real Estate Investing in Utah

With the declining Utah real estate market, investors are seeing great opportunities for investment.
It is my opinion, after 26 years in the real estate industry, that the only way you can get hurt with a real estate investment is IF you have to sell in buyers market. Most investors must have a couple of options if the market gets tough. A Plan A, and then a Plan B for tighter times. Right now with the lending guidelines tightened up, there is an abundance of renters. Now is the time to start making a portfolio, with other people making your payments. If you can rent a property for 1% of the sales price that is a good guideline to go by so that you don't end up having to subsidize your own retirement. All properties will sell, it just depends on the price, condition and location. Sooner or later, if you stick to the sales price, it will be saleable!
